With more than 12 years of academic experience at the University of Nottingham and the Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon, Dr. Krishna Basu is an expert in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science. She has worked with government research agencies and managed R&D projects for some of the world's largest agribusiness, food and petcare industries in the UK and Europe.

Having lectured in I.C.T. at the University of Nottingham for several years, Krishna additionally trained in Information and Library Management before setting up Literati; she now specialises in change management and redevelopment projects.

Krishna is fluent in French and German and is learning Italian, Spanish and Mandarin. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, hiking and charity work.

Dr. Ganesh Balasubramanian is an experienced plant scientist having completed 10 years of academic studies and research at the University of Nottingham and the University of Delhi.

With primary interests in Botany, Molecular Microbiology and Plant Biotechnology, Ganesh has undertaken several agricultural sustainability and food safety projects with Universities, biotechnology companies and research institutes.

Before setting up Literati, Ganesh lectured first in I.C.T, research and study skills and then in Plant Biology, Genetics and Biochemistry at the University of Nottingham. He is fluent in Hindi and Tamil, speaks French and is studying Spanish and Mandarin. In his spare time, Ganesh enjoys cooking, reading, volunteering and playing tennis.
